“Made in Shandong Taishan” Shines at the Shanghai Music Fair

The China (Shanghai) International Musical Instruments Exhibition was founded in 2002. After 23 years of development, it has become one of the most influential musical instrument exhibitions in the world, bringing together well-known domestic and international brands and building an important platform for Chinese musical instruments to reach the global market.
On October 22, 2025, the exhibition was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre in Shanghai, China. As the largest musical instrument exhibition in the world, it attracted 2,300 companies from 34 countries and regions. Exhibits covered a wide range of categories, including pianos and keyboard instruments, electronic instruments, percussion instruments, brass instruments, woodwind instruments, string instruments, traditional instruments, harmonicas, accordions, instrument accessories and manufacturing machinery, sheet music and books, music-related computer hardware and software, music services, associations, and media.
A total of 19 companies from Longkou City participated in this exhibition. Among them, Shandong Taishan Wind Instruments Manufacturing Co., Ltd. had the largest presence and achieved the highest number of orders and sales. Below are some photos from the exhibition.
Shandong Taishan Wind Instruments Manufacturing Co., Ltd. was founded in 1987. It is a professional wind instrument manufacturer integrating research and development, production, sales, and education. The company is one of China’s major production bases for saxophones, known for its large production capacity and high product quality.
Taishan Wind Instruments is a well-known trademark in China. In 2003, it was awarded one of the Top Ten Certified Quality Brands of Chinese Musical Instrument Products. The company has always regarded quality as the foundation of its business. It was also the first wind instrument company in China to receive the China Well-Known Trademark honor.
The company owns 12 independent brands and 14 utility model patents for saxophones, and has obtained both ISO9001 Quality Management System certification and ISO14000 Environmental Management System certification.
At this exhibition, Taishan Wind Instruments showcased products including saxophones and brass instruments. The company displayed over one hundred saxophone models, which attracted great attention from visitors and buyers. Many domestic and international orders were secured on site, with sales significantly leading other exhibitors.
Among the 19 companies from Longkou City participating in the exhibition, the total transaction value reached 260.8 million RMB, representing a year-on-year increase of 31.7%. This exhibition greatly boosted the confidence of local enterprises, with the goal of building Longkou into a world-class production base for wind instruments.
Both exhibitors and visitors gained the latest industry insights and found suitable business partners, jointly promoting technological upgrades and innovative development in the musical instrument industry.
